Visit the historic town of Berkhamsteds High Street where youll find a charming market town with shops, pubs and historic buildings, all nestled in the rolling hills of Hertfordshire.


15 minute drive from Ashridge House. We will have a shuttle service running between the venue and the town all day on Sunday. Additionally, see the recommended taxi service below.

If youre heading into town to explore Berkhamsteds high street, take a short walk over to the Berkhamsted Castle to visit the historic ruins. Berkhamsted Castle and the deer park and estate surrounding it were for many centuries held by the Duchy of Cornwall.

Open daily 10 am to 6 pm. Free entry. We will have a shuttle service between Ashridge House and Berkhamsted High Street on Sunday for those wanting to go into town to explore. You can also see the recommended taxi service below.
